I just wanted to pass on some very positive feedback regarding the engineer who came to carry out my boiler and cylinder service today.
Hamish was very friendly, very engaging and took the time to explain how everything worked in my new home, especially since I was used to combi boilers.

B&K installed the boiler in my first house in 1984 and have been my choice of boiler service company ever since. They are just the right size of company to give responsive, cost effective, quality installation and service. They have just saved me from a very cold 2021 Christmas when my boiler died the week before. They fitted me in at short notice and the system upgrade to a modern combi was neatly installed in 3 days now my house is warmer than it has been for years. Hamish (and his apprentice) ensured that I at least had running water and the electric shower was usable during the work. Highly Recommended.
Am writing in response to the engineer & apprentice who visited and installed the new Worcester Boiler.
Again, was an absolute joy to have B&K Boiler services in the form of both Dan and Dillion on the property, both extremely charming and easy to engage with, Dan is exceptional in his workmanship and noticeable in guiding Dillion the apprentice, who is obviously extremely keen to learn.
Please pass our gratitude to them both.
My only regret?…… not having contacted B&K years ago, customer service at its finest.
B & K engineer visited my property on 18th June 2020. He arrived within the hour when other plumbers were telling me that they were too busy to come out. He carried out a repair to an excellent standard in a fraction of the cost that I was thinking it was going to cost. I was going to claim on my insurance but my excess is greater than the price that B & K charged me. I will not hesitate to recommend B & K for heating and general plumbing repairs. Will not be using anyone else in the future.
I just want to say how pleased I am with the service I have received from B. & K. Boilers this week.
Everyone I have seen has been friendly and efficient and I am now very cosy with my new boiler.

Full marks to Dan Wilman and the installation team of Lewis and Ivor for an outstanding job over the Easter weekend. The original Worcester boiler was not available, so an alternative was agreed, although slightly bigger dimensions. All the pipework and cabling for water, gas, electricity, effluents and flue had to be rerouted to a different room that was more suitable to accommodate the larger size boiler.
Dan sized up the job and set to work on Good Friday. The entire job was completed in the day and a small adjustment made on Saturday for Dan to sign off the installation – all in time for Easter Sunday’s cooking!
In my opinion, Dan did a remarkable multi-skilled job with attention to detail and always with a cheery can-do attitude. It was a pleasure to have Dan, his assistant Lewis and electrician Ivor working together to complete a complex installation. B&K can be proud of their workforce.
A big shout out to B&K Boilers. Thank you so much for prompt call out. Had no heating yesterday morning. Technician came out in the afternoon to diagnose fault and get us what heat he could. This afternoon the engineer was able to come out and fix the valve and we have heat again. Amazing service.
We used B&K boilers to install a new central heating boiler in January 2021. They were professional, polite and were respectful of our home. They always left the house clean and tidy. Very good standard of workmanship. They even corrected a previous plumbers poor work. We would recommend them to anyone.

We have just had a boiler replacement by your team, Hamish and Dan. You responded within 24 hours, the boiler lives in the attic, not easy to access but they worked all day and maintained their humour!
On completion, the gas pressure was low, requiring a new gas pipe, at 1400 on friday afternoon.
Your second team came in and we had all work done by 1700. Brilliant!

B&K put the boiler into my house when it was built nearly 35 years ago and have looked after both it and me ever since.
They have all the professionalism of a large service company with none of the drawbacks, combined with the personal relationship only available with local companies. They’ll move hell and high water to get someone out to you FAST and even their emergency rates won’t decimate your finances.
I’ll be replacing my boiler soon and there’s no contest, the job is theirs because I know who will do it, when they’ll turn up and how tenacious they’ll be to ensure I’m 100% happy, from talking through initial options to final twiddles. No upselling, no badgering, no dragging out jobs, just an excellent company with excellent, comprehensive services.

These guys helped when we had an error message and no heating in our boiler just before we moved house. Came same day after ABC had made us wait two days with no heating then decided to destroy a wire and tell us they couldn’t fix it. B&K know what they are doing and I can recommend them.
After a woeful experience with British Gas which left me with a Condemned Boiler and no support, despite a Homecare agreement, I contacted B&K for a second opinion and to quote for a new Boiler. Ultimately having B&K replace our boiler was the best decision I have made all year. The install team have certainly set the bar for the standard I expect from any other engineer coming to my home to install anything in the future. They were polite, punctual, neat and tidy, knowledgeable but most of all took great pride in their work. The friendly and super efficient back office team at B&K also assured us that we had made the right decision. I took great pleasure cancelling my British Gas Homecare agreement and hope to continue with B&K taking care of my Boiler and central heating going forward.

I cannot recommend these guys enough, came out promptly to carry out quote. Team arrived on the day of installation, worked really hard and did a very thorough job. Had boiler, cylinder, thermostat and radiators replaced.

Highly recommend! Quite brilliant service as compared with British Gas’ offering. Came out within minutes of call to boiler breakdown (British Gas wanted us to wait 10 days without heating even though we have a service contract!). Identified problem within 30 mins. Said they would come back 3 days later to fix, but actually came 2 days later – that’s service – and all fixed within 1.5 hours. Great service, professional and competent engineers. Great back office support.
